The Citroen C-Zero is an electric vehicle powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor of 47 kW or 64 bhp EEC from 3000 to 6000 rpm. The maximum torque of 180 Nm available from 2,000 rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear axle through a gearbox one speed.
The motor is powered by the latest generation of 330-volt lithium-ion battery, which consists of 88 50 Ah cells (coastal shipping, 16 kWh of energy), installed at the center of the vehicle.Lithium-ion keeps the weight under the conventional technology, while offering equivalent performance.
