It is quite an exceptional car, the Bentley Brooklands. Think of how you (the two-door version of Crewe's Missile Azure T, hardtop version of the Azure), but it's definitely a stunningly fast. Still blissfully relaxed. And only 550 made??.
There's also something really quite nice about doing 150mph in the leather and wood-lined room. Landscape may be rushing by - and keeps feeding power to the rear wheels and the scenery as soon as the speed is 184mph - still inside the room, but Cocoon is all effortless elegance. In front is a little burble and growl from the big pushrod V8 engine, 49 years old, but still growing strong (and stronger). Below are the Autostrada to convey a strange bump and thump but mostly the suspension is a great job you are wafting over the blacktop. Just like the steering is communicative still very muted, so the whole car still keeps you in touch with reality you isolate the Hurly burly fast cars.
